If you feel you need palliative (end-of-life) care, here are the actions that you need to take.

Hospice is not a death sentence. Unfortunately, there's an association in our society between hospice care and death. But, this is not reality. Hospice care helps patients live their lives to the fullest — in the most comfort and peace — no matter how long they are in hospice care.
Your physician will call the medical social worker at hospice, giving them their recommendation. Hospice will contact you making an appointment to meet with you and/or family members.
Hospice then becomes your go-to for all your health care needs. They will come to your home weekly to make adustments to medications and RN's willmonitor your progress. These people are angels and will become a part of your extended family.
If you need in-home care, give us a call. We have 21 years of hospice experience.
